352 Digital Office 365 MFA

Multi-Factor Authentication For Office 365

As of 1st August 2019, as a Microsoft Partner we will enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on Office 365 for all administrators.

This means that on August 1st, 2019 between 8:00am and 9:00am CEST and for any new users added after that time, you will have to log in to your Office account using Microsoft Authenticator app for iOS or Android.

To preempt any issues accessing mail, administrators should download Microsoft Authenticator to your phone using the above link and log in using your office 365 account.

Once you have downloaded the Microsoft Authenticator on your phone, you can activate it by logging into outlook.com on the web using your company email address and password or use the MFA setup tool.

Follow the steps to activate MFA using your phone and the Authenticator app. When you have followed all the steps, your Microsoft account will be added to the authenticator app and you will see MFA codes in the app.

Microsoft has provided an MFA visual guide with screenshots and further detail to help with the setup process.

For 352 Digital clients where we act as administrator, this step has already been taken and no action is needed on your part!
